Land of Statues is the story of these families of soldiers who laid down their lives in terror attack. The family members of BSF and CRPF jawans Arvind Vimal and Ajit Kumar, who were killed in the Naxalites of West Bengal and Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, show their efforts to make statues and memorials to preserve their memories as patriots. Along with the struggle of efforts to fulfill the promises made by the administration, it has tried to raise its questions from the investigating agencies on these incidents. Along with this the film shows what expression of nationalism can be in the form of a soldier through a sculptor’s own imaginations. And it raises the question whether the general public is, aware of such incidents.And what can be the definition of nationalism for them. And what ideology about patriotism flourishes in the minds of the youth preparing for the army from these incidents.
